Jodi has a deep love for art, and for her, creativity comes alive through touch and sound. As Jodi is blind, it’s important that we focus on creating rich sensory experiences that allow her to explore and express herself beyond sight. Through the combination of texture, sound, and tactile exploration, Jodi has brought this beautiful piece to life entirely within her imagination. Working closely with staff, she thoughtfully crafted each individual tentacle using materials that could not only be felt but also heard adding another sensory dimension to her work. The process became a celebration of creativity through sensation, allowing Jodi to connect deeply.
