Rainbow Fish

Zainah is a very tactile individual who thrives on sensory engagement and hands-on experiences. While working alongside her to create this artwork, our focus was on supporting her to explore and engage with a variety of textures, sensations, and materials in a way that was both enjoyable and meaningful. This piece was designed to encourage sensory exploration, allowing Zainah to express herself through touch, movement, and creative interaction. Drawing inspiration from her love of the beach and her enjoyment of people-watching by the shoreline, the artwork reflects the calming and stimulating environment she connects with most. Through this process, Zainah was able to explore new sensory inputs while expressing her personality and interests in a creative and therapeutic way.
