Taylor’s favorite sea creature is the octopus, its been crafted in paper-mâché to give it a nice 3D effect. The eyes are imitation sticky back gems partially covered in paper-mâché to create the eyelids and the suckers on the tentacles are rolled and rounded pieces of paper. The bright background contrasts the subtle tones of the octopus that are often well hidden and deliberately draw the eye from this often unseen creature.
