Wild Flowers

The Rocky Bay textile group proudly present the ‘Wild Flowers’ series. Paying homage to the rich tapestry of Australian wildflowers, beautifully unfurling on upcycled cloth canvas. Each artist embraces the liberty to select and explore their chosen native bloom, employing a meticulous tracing technique that intertwines fine motor skills with artistic expression. 

The flowers come to life with lustrous acrylic paint, delicately laced across the canvas, and are then stitched around the edges, forming a captivating folk frame that unifies the entire piece.   

This collaborative endeavour extends an open invitation to both feedback and enthusiastic volunteers willing to join the sewing process. Join our textile group in a shared experience of laughter, freedom, and the boundless exploration of the diverse and captivating world of Australian wildflowers.

Artwork Collection
All items are sold by Click-and-Collect. We will notify you when your artwork is ready to collect from our Mosman Park Hub once the exhibition is finished.
